[BNM] Attachments crash Apple Mail - solution

Hi all,

Having spent a good hour or so getting to the bottom of this, just to  
save anyone else the hassle in case they have the same problem,  
assuming this isn't already common knowledge...

I was having trouble with Apple Mail locking up whenever I tried to  
add an attachment to an outgoing mail. The problem seems to be long  
filenames - not sure of the exact numbers but shortening the filename  
to <24 characters or so seems to solve it.
