Tignes is great - the higher you stay the better - actually in the 
tignes resort itself is best

Jan is too hardcore weather - can spoil the experience unless you are 
black run expert boarder

also the grande Motte (very high glacial peak) will prob be closed cause 
of wind/weather

Best time is Late Feb
