[BNM] More Vista woes. kill me please...

I've had enough.
I've really tried to get on with this shitty OS, but it's
unbelievable. A total f**k up. nothing can be found easily, cant get
the browser to work properly etc. total shambles.

I downloaded Ubuntu, but when I burnt the ISO, it didnt seem to work.
I use Nero, so any suggest what I am doing wrong?
also, are there a list of drivers anywhere? I have a scanner, laserjet
and inkjet to all hook into it, plus the Dell thing has a slot for
card reader which I would like to make use of.
