I wonder if it's as annoying as top posting when the previous was bottom
posted. Mixing it all up. Sorry, I know that's an old one (Macs are shit
too). I get shouted at by someone at work if I _ever_ top post. He comes
round and shouts at me. I wish he'd just email.
And yes I'm looking into improving my etiquette. I'm afraid it's user
limits rather than the client which can handle threads. I don't want to
receive lots of emails so I reply using the subject headings in the google
archive. That's probably why I don't notice the issue. I do look in google
groups and it mostly handles my replies in the way I'd expect (but not all
the time). I don't think that's lazy as it probably takes a few more pointy
clickies to get to the point where I can reply.
I do realise my problems are the reverse of the issue but Mr Pashley had
(kindly) pointed out that my emails were starting new threads, as I assume
this one will too. So I may well be replying from gmail soon.
Is anyone reading this stuff via google groups and replying with their
gmail account? That means I've got to subscribe via google groups which I
thought was a no no for some reason.
Jason
