[BNM] Slow meteors with no trail [OT]

Do such things exist?

Myself and my flatmate, and a guest staying for the night watched plenty
of 'shooting star' meteors last night, the kind that streak across the sky
leaving a trail - generally too fast to really get a handle on what you're
seeing - but then at 11:30 ish, my flat mate Ben came up to my room and
pointed out a group of 4 very bright red/orange chunks of light in the
sky, travelling very slowly, more like satellite speed, from west to east,
and leaving no trail at all...

We stood there saying: "I didn't think meteors looked like this..."

A quick search online gives us no description of meteors that fit what we
saw last night...

So, can anyone enlighten us to what it was?
