What you really meant to say was:
"Yea - apparently it interfered with the Gulf stream this year - it
didn't travel as far North as normal"

Forgive me for reading your words, not your mind.

I'm unable to find the article on the BBC site. Did the beeb say that
climate change caused this change in the Gulf Stream, or was it your
own conclusion?
