It was on the beeb. The gulf stream normally goes up past Scotland...
this time it appeared to fizzle out around the channel - this meant that
the normal cold complex from the north wasn't pushed back the the normal
warm complex from the south... causing it to piss down all over the UK.
Twas on the telly. If you don't like it, a firmly worded letter to The
Times is in order, pointing out that The BBC researchers are deluded,
unhelpful and that their data is sufficiently robust. That will get them.
