Ahh, this piece of string I'm holding, how long is it ;-)
This is rather like web design, you can cost it in one of two ways:
1. How many hours it takes * your hourly rate
2. How much it enhances the worth of the business you are doing it for
If you're not sure about '2' and don't have a portfolio of previous
articles which will let you convince the client that your work will be
worth a lot to their company, you're probably safest with '1'. If you
don't know how long it'll take you to write the articles, you're going
to be back at the lovely stage of estimating times and hoping you don't
go too far over them, and that's always fun.
