I was going to say - this survey should really be done (not knocking it or
'owt) in context.
To say which is "best" per se doesn't mean much. It needs to be qualified
for what purpose the language will be used. For example you wouldn't use
ActionScript as the main development tool for creating a banking
system....but J2EE or .NET might be the "best" in that case...

I never got to see the survey as I was too busy, but can you really
compare Javascript/Actionscript with J2EE/.NET? One is server side, one
isn't, and they should be used in combination.
