Yep. Love it and use it all the time.
I guess mostly focussed on web apps where python is a pretty good deal.
We've developed scouta.com using python + turbogears + sql alchemy and I
personally think it really is the right way to go.
As far as a local python community, would love to find one. No idea who is
currently around. We've developed scouta using a team half here and half in
Perth, Australia.
