Ah, well I did listen to most of them on laptop speakers (see the
aforementioned headphone issue!) which could explain why I didn't
notice. :)

Apparently, a pencil taped to the middle of the mic grille (i.e.
infront of the diaphragm) makes a simple pop-shield if you don't have
a spare pair of tights to hand. Or if you're more of a fishnets type.
