[BNM] ADSL reconnection question

Hey list,

Here's a quick q for anyone that might know: i've moved into a
property that has a bt line, which has been disconnected (or whatever
it is when someone moves out). The previous tenant had ADSL.  Since
the line can handle ADSL, will it be any quicker to get it up and
working again? If i stay with the previous supplier (BT :-o) would it
make any difference?
