Hello,
Sorry off topic but you all know the internet.
My brother just rang me and asked me to sort this out for our mom.
Apparently, if you're over 65/60?/70? (my mom is covered by all ages here),
living alone and in a house of less than 3 bedrooms you can get a
gas/electricity deal for a fixed monthly amount which is quite good.
I've no idea what this is and whether it's just the same deals you can get
from uswitch.com etc. Does this ring a bell? Is there anything special for
those over 65? I pay a fixed monthly amount but am under 65 so am wondering
if there's no special thing for the over 65s. Apparently you can use as
much gas/electricity as you need then? My mom isn't the sort to go mad over
gas and electricity but it would be good to know that the amount is fixed
for her usage.
This is for a Birmingham address if that's significant.
Jason
