I've just read on Amazon reviews so probably not true? and I'm too lazy to 
check that BF2142 is really just an addon/extension/update to BF2. So if 
that's true you've already got a patched game to some extent. If it is true 
then I'm not willing to pay 27 quid (play/amazon) for it. The 20 quid offer 
seems more reasonable.

If it really is a new engine then it's probably going to go up to 29/35 
quid and so why not buy the cheap version and keep an eye out for patches 
or wait for second hand?

I've not played in ages but does the search allow for player searches e.g. 
everyone called

BNM* (wildcard)? or is someone able to host a server which many can get 
onto? I'm not saying I'm playing but I may lurk and try and get good again. 
always found it difficult to get onto the same server as either busy or 
hard to find.
