[BNM] CMS help

I am looking to include a Content Management System on one of my clients websites - he wants to update recent news himself & also keep an up to date list of stock that customers can search through & then order via phone or email.

Can any recommend any CMS software?

I have been doing a bit of research into it & finding it to be a bit confusing - there seems to be so many of them around now & I'm finding it difficult to pick out a decent one.
