[BNM] Flash in an email

I think you've answered your own questions - let's face it, if there was a
way round it, everyone would be using it, no?

My advice would be to use the email to link to a web page (possibly using a
pic, if the client insists on some graphic content in the email) - there's
no way of knowing what size the viewing window would be in the recepients
email program would be, anyway, so it's better all round (and just generally
more polite) to ask people to click to a webpage to see the greeting.

imho, natch.

Subject: [BNM] Flash in an email

Hi All,

A client of mine has come to me wanting to send out some Xmas cards by
email, done in Flash.

I assume this will have to be done as an HTML email, with the flash object
embedded in the HTML?

Isn't Outlook and other email clients likely to block this content in the
first place, until the user clicks on "allow content" or "download
pictures"?

I don't suppose there is any way around this?

Any advice appreciated.
Alan
