[BNM] [OT] Lewes bonfire night

I'm taking some friends over to Lewes for the bonfire night procession
and fireworks this year. I've only been once before, years ago. Has
anyone got any tips for how to get there/back with minimum fuss or
good areas to go to? Any idea if the trains going to Wivelsfield are
less crowded than those heading to Brighton?
