[BNM] Likelihood of anybody taking on a prebuilt ecomm site

Hi,
I realise the answer is probably 'highly unlikely' but I promised my
client I would find out anyway.

Although I usually try to stick to design only, I took on an ecommerce
redesign/redevelopment for a client in London.
Due to budget constraints I ended up (after trying a number of uk based
companies) outsourcing to an indian company (sounding familiar?).
The outfit in question were recommended by the uk president of VTC
(virtual training company) who I've worked with over the years and they
successfully completed their website.

Sadly for us the story is the usual one - massive amounts of
micromanagement due to lack of attention to detail, endless problems
with functioning of the site through slack QA.

If anybody is interested the site is here: http://www.actionukonline.com

Question: would another development company find it worth their while to
take on the site i.e. sort out hosting, follow through with maintenance
and further development work etc. or is it something that would make
most sensible people run screaming?

It's a complex beast to be sure as it has various levels of membership,
sells products, serves up video and audio, allows upgrades and does
cross promotions which is mostly in place (though we do have a phase 2
to begin yet).

Unfortunately we are encountering one snag after another and myself and
my client are starting to despair of ever getting it to run smoothly or
indeed reaching a point where we can sign off this phase of the
development, hence my question to you.

Any feedback much appreciated.
Yan
