[BNM] 1and1.com - good or bad?

Hi there

I know the original discussion has been and gone, but I was a bit puzzled by
the "our website goes down about 5 times a day" comment.

I've used 1&1 (that's the same as 1and1, UK contact in Slough???) for 3
years, maybe checking the site or updating once a day -- but much more over
the last year -- and I can only remember the site being down once...

Sorry if im a bit late getting in on this one (although now 100% resident of
brighton with a bed and a table and EVERYTHING!) - We use 1and1 at work and
our website goes down about 5 times a day, making it impossible to ftp
anything or show people our work...
when you ring up to find out what they're playing at they just say its the
nature of the internet...
