[BNM] more eclipse questions

Hello,

Still looking at Eclipse (for Windows but that doesn't matter too much). 
Can I ask what plugins/extra/stuff anyone uses with Eclipse?

We have dreamweaver mx but Eclipse looks like a viable alternative. I'm 
thinking of adding the ability to do
web/html stuff
php tools
Java- that's a given, isn't it?
C++/C/Visual studio alternative- that is windows specific?

Can you tell me, if you are using Eclipse for any of the above; what 
recommended tools to go with it. Is there an SFTP plugin. Is plugin the 
right word generally for Eclipse?
