[BNM] JPGs won't open

Indeed it isn't. I've checked and the .jpg 
extension is there. I've tried manually 
adding the extension but each one then 
becomes picture.jpg.jpg.

However, I have solved it - though I've no 
idea how. Using Xara X I tried to import a 
photo. It said it didn't recognise the format 
but would try anyway. Clicked OK and there 
was the photo! So I can now save them as 
anything I like and then use them that way.
