I said considering Windows itself has not changed for some time that's
what you might expect. You then told me that "PCs changed with Windows
XP imho" at which point I checked when this was introduced and
discovered it is even older than I had originally assumed. Or was that
your point all along, you can't compare systems released in 2005 with
one that was last refreshed in 2001?

Thanks - as I said I am also long enough in the tooth to remember DOS
1, CP/M. COBOL, TTY etc. I was trolling for a flamewar, damn.
