[BNM] [OT]Laptop advice needed

Home Theatre PCs, i'm about to build a multimedia server with multiple 
TV tuners, shed loads of hard drive space and have silent pc's without 
hard drives booting over the network in each room, the server will 
probably be in an Oak Case but i haven't finalised that yet, i'm still 
working on the spec. each pc will also have a built in T-class amp. 
Ideally i'd like them all to run off power over Ethernet

i have to find something to do in my month of paternity leave, when i've 
finished looking after the missus and the baby and its 2 am and i can't 
sleep :-)
