[BNM] Laptop advice needed

I'm in the market too, and I've been recommended Novatech.
All the range on their website (http://www.novatech.co.uk/)
are under 1000UKP (ex VAT). I presume those prices exclude
operating system, which suits me.

The person recommending is in tech support for a large
organisation so gets through many machines. He says Novatech
support is knowledgeable and very helpful. But I only have this
one recommendation. Does anyone else here have any experience
of Novatech?
