Thanks to the rest of you for the replies too, all grist for my mill  
and very much appreciated. The payment systems page is very useful  
too and has pointed me in the direction of API, which I didn't really  
think was open to us until now, thanks Tom.

If/when a decision is made I'll try to remember to post back for the  
benefit of anyone else who's thinking about changing their payment  
system.
