It's my preferred gateway actually; we use it ourselves and seem to get
about 80% of e-commerce clients coming to us with that one. 

The form solution is good (you can design your own payment page pretty much)
but we find we're using the API connection more often than not. You can send
them card details using that *without* keeping them on your server, which
gives the client the best of both worlds. One of my guys has written his own
PHP library for that now which is handy. 

I would have a read of the Farm wiki Tom pointed out - we collected a lot of
notes there plus some examples.
