Initial impression of Flex 2 -

After a seven year hiatus from programming multimedia applications I
started using AS2 last year and have been both excited by what I can create
with Flash and extremely frustrated by the idiosynchrocies of the language
and the development environment.

For the last few days, I have been playing with Flex 2 and AS3 during my
train commute to London and I love it. It feels like the language and
development environment that I've been looking for and I'm really looking
forward to using it more.

Paul.
