[BNM] [OT] Visiting Cornwall

+1 for Lost Gardens of Heligan/heligon? I preferred that to the Eden 
project. The overgrown bit around the lake/pool was nice.

I think someone asked about Cornwall a while back and I mentioned St. 
Austell; purely cos it had a campsite/B+B and was cycling distance to the 
Eden project. I think someone pointed out that St. Austell wasn't the 
nicest place in the world but it was fine for a B+B.

Newquay was scary. I used to go as a kid and couldn't resist a look. 
Fistral Beach now has some massive constuction on it- a surf centre I 
think. I wanted to stay in the big Hotel on the cliff but it was far too 
expensive.

We did stay one night in this Hotel which was nice:

Cornwall has proper beaches unlike Brighton.
