Thanks for this. I didn't necessarily want php inside zope; that just 
seemed to be what I was picking-up on in searches. I'm really just trying 
to find out what others were doing. I've got my own pc at home running 
unbuntu for just messing really. I wanted php/apache/mysql on there and 
zope. It's not for anything serious just to mess so if they can coexist 
then that's fine.

My real reason is to try and get something working between
Moodle (php) and schooltool (python/zope). They use different technologies 
but look like they may work well together. Again not for anything serious 
but just a learning exercise.
