Hi,
I had a go at following the instructions on http://www.scottmanning.com/archives/000443.php on a Mac and did not end up at the same place at all. It would appear that you click on Insert/Movies from File. Had a look on Help and located the following:
Types of movies that Microsoft Office can use
You can insert movies in the following formats:
• FLIC AutoDesk Animator Animation (FLC, FLI)
• QuickTime (QT, MOV)
• QuickTime VR (QTVR)
• Macromedia Flash (SWF)
• Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG 2, MPEG 4)
• Video for Windows (AVI)
Note All inserted movies are linked to your document. If you need to open your document on a different computer, remember to also copy the movie file when you copy the document. If you don't, you will just have a picture of the poster frame of the movie.
I hope that helps. If you would like me to check anything further in relation to this then send an email off list because I will not see this list till tomorrow.
Regards,
Niamh
