[BNM] .bin files and burning to CD

I have a heap of .bin files here - as far as I gather from googling the best
or only way to get at the data inside them is to burn them onto a CD via
Nero...

Is this true? and/or the only way?
Has anyone else got a quick way to get at the data inside those files?
I don't have NERO here (but can install it later) - I would rather not
though
