Fairly easy, but you'll need to disconnect the wires from the light
fitting/ceiling rose and reconnect the wires into the fan's connectors. Of
course, you don't need telling to turn the power off at the mains, do you?

Subject: [BNM] [OT] Ceiling fans

I'm looking at getting a couple of ceiling fans this week as it's a bit warm
in my flat right now. I have never fitted one before so have no clue if they
just screw into the socket on the celing like a replacement light fitting
would.

The property is rented so I don't want to have to do anything too major like
drilling holes in the ceiling etc. Anyone ever fitted one? Is it easy?

cheers
