[BNM] [OT] Supposing ... I'm too old for MySpace

No, it definitely is. MySpace is a great example that while design is
important, content is far more important. People will flock to a site
that has valuable content regardless of other factors. The valuable
content on MySpace is the users. The kids on there also are not
designers, they actually like the way their site looks (I've spoke to
a couple of 18 year olds about it) and don't realise how horrible it
is, although they are able to recognize better looking sites as
better looking when shown. I've noticed at least one very big name
band also has an account on http://tagworld.com/ now (which apart
from huge pop-ups telling me I can't use Safari looks like a better
design). It will be interesting to see how it fares against the
MySpace juggernaut.
