[BNM] Does anyone use BE Broadband

BE have made use of 'Local Loop Unbundling' which means they can control the
wiring from the exchange to your premises.  Traditionally this was a BT-only
affair.  I contacted Easynet about this who said they would lay a line from
the Kemptown exchange to our office.  But the monthly cost of the service
was pretty high.  Realistically you're not going to see anything like 24mb
downstream.  We're 4 miles form the Kemptown exchange and Easynet would only
promise us 2mb down.

BE Broadband (www.bethere.co.uk)  24 meg broadband for home product.

Any users with good or bad stories? Also, how can I find out how far
from my exchange?
