[BNM] Apache / Apache 2 / FastCGI / Lighttpd advice

I've been looking at lighttpd for a while now, if you need a web server
for a specific purpose/site it makes much more sense then apache.
If you're looking to do reverse proxying then I sugest you check out
varnish.
