[BNM] really odd ie resizeing css bug s:/

I had a very similar issue the other week where I had a body
background image matching up with one in centred div, afraid to say
that I cheated and changed my design.
I seem to recall it's something to do with the way IE recalculates
the viewing port, but someone of a more technical bent than I may have
a better answer, I'd love to know if anyone else knows of a good
solution.
