If Diamond are the place across the road from the old town hall, I'd be bery
cautious about getting advice from them. I went window shopping one day and
they tried to sell me a 64-bit AMD with intergrated graphics based machine
with 5400 speed drives for well above rrp, tried to convince me that this
was *the *machine for the modern graphic designer [also just happened to be
on special]. When I enquired about a better, Dual Core based machine, she
laughed and pooh poohed the intel set, which is fair enough, but blatantly
lied to me about compatibility issues concerning 64-bit vs. Dual Core 32's -
she basically implied that they were basically the same thing... 'what's 32
x 2?' with a wry smile. When I called her on it, she got very huffy - - Buy
off them fine, but know your stuff before you go in there...
Any basic USB2 card should do you by the way.
