[BNM] can anyone recommend any good forum/BB and blog software?

Hi all,

I've been reading the BNM list for a while now, and you're a helpful lot
in general so I thought I'd pose my question here and wait for the
nuggets of wisdom to roll in ; )

I'm doing some research into forum and blogging software to install on a
client's site and I'm looking for some good recommendations. By 'good' I
mean the following:

- Open Source or inexpensive
- Good support community or dedicated support
- Implemented in PHP / MySQL
- Accessibility standards compliant (to level 1 at least)
- Easily customisable L&F
- Fairly secure (and has quick updates if/when a hole is found)
- Simple to use
- Doesn't have to be feature-packed

This would be deployed on a Linux/Apache server.

(BTW Re. forum software I have experience of UBB, which isn't too bad).

Any helpful pointers would be much appreciated.
