[BNM] [OT] Holiday recommendations

Hello,

Can anyone recommend any local (outside Sussex- Dorset or possibly Devon) 
short holiday destinations for a family of three (2 year old child)? I 
think Cornwall may be a little too far this year for us.

I've just been looking at Mudeford (Bournemouth) caravan sites and they 
seem to offer only 1 week stays. We're after a 2 or 3 night stay somewhere 
and reasonably cheap. My wife's quite pregnant so she's not keen on camping 
(nor am I- generally). Ideally a caravan site, cheap-ish hotel or B+B.

I'm guessing that as this time of year it's difficult to get short stay 
holidays.
