Subject: [BNM] Introduction

Hi all.

Just wanted to get the awkward first post out of the way.

My name is Barry Prendergast and I'm moving to Brighton in a couple of
months and I'm trying to get a remote feel for the place. Who's on this
list? "New" media covers quite a lot :). My story is I day-job it as a
production designer with an advertising agency here in Ireland but also
[read as prefer] to make music/sound artworks as piratio [my download page
is below if your interested] and make music videos [none on-line as yet] and
do club visuals as eyedrenalin; I've done shows with Ambulance ( planet mu),
Decal (rotter's golf club), Rob Rowland (D1), Herv ( risc), Numbers (
tigerbeat6), New York City Survivors (DUM), Colleen (leaf) & Chris Clark (
warp). At the moment I'm trying to build my own website and failing
miserably due to distractions from my new copy of Live, a nasty penchant for
hazelnut lattes and Edward Harris records. I'd like to get out of the soul
destroying work that is print-media advertising and get back into sound and
video production. Does anybody have any help/tips/job{!!!} that might help
me out?

Thanks and hiyo!
