Yea, it is, and I think it always will be. People's general attention to 
detail just isn't that great.

It kindof comes down to systems design I think. The "people" part of a 
system tends to flow like water, find it's own levels etc... trying to 
educate water to flow in a certain direction is a lot harder than just 
building a system that caters for well-known (but detrimental) human 
traits.

The system as a whole has leakage - and there are aspects of it that 
could be better designed, like electrical devices that don't leak energy 
for example.
